DMSC 2022 wrapped up in Napa Valley following three days of automotive presentations, panels, and keynotes by leaders in the industry. The conference was energetic, positive, and excited about the future of providing quality customer experiences that bring customers back for years to come. 

Adaptability. Gone are the days are a one-size-fits-all, set-and-forget automated solution (if those days ever existed at all. We are doubtful). A panel of marketing technologists explored the world of marketing automation within retail automotive. They stressed the importance of owning your data so that your marketing automation can be adaptive. 

Courage. In a keynote, DMSC founder Brian Pasch spoke to the community about fear's lethal impact on innovation in the automotive retail industry. Brian shared observations that buzz around EV changing the industry leads to ignoring the real issues. The fear of change stifles open dialogue, stopping innovation before it begins. 

Proactive. Chip Perry from A2Z Sync and Murat Deljanin from Paragon Acura and Paragon Honda spoke about building loyal lifelong customers through proactive measures. 

Human. Shari Levitin pointed out the connection between video selling and the human desire for connection. She explained adding personalized videos throughout the buying process is a powerful tool. 

The event wrapped leaving each attendee with new ideas to implement in their digital marketing strategies. Conversations like these are essential in the industry for meeting and exceeding customer expectations now and in the future.
