ICE Phase Out. Santosh spoke about Delaware's decision to follow California's guidance on a 2035 ban on the sale of gas-powered vehicles. Using Hybrids as an example, he said the adoption of new technology comes from market forces and not deadlines set by regulatory bodies.
Infrastructure and Affordability. Santosh also shared the Association is centering the conversation on the needs of Delaware's citizens. He said the number one thing that needs to happen is the public needs to be engaged in the conversation by letting state lawmakers know their thoughts.
