Through September, Carter Myers Automotive collected money from each sale to support the University of Virginia Children's Hospital. After tallying up and printing a big ole check, our friend Liza Borches and her team delivered an astounding $25,500.00 to UVA!
The money will help with transportation needs, which Director of Development, Richard Long, says is one of the biggest challenges facing patients and their families.
Liza says the dealer group loves supporting the UVA doctors' and nurses' work for families in CMA's community.
We are lucky enough to have some background that helps it land in the special part of my heart.
Liza Borches talks about supporting every associate at Carter Myers Automotive as being key to the group's success. Which is where most business success stories roll the credits. But then you see a story like this and realize it doesn't stop.
The associate success that blossoms into store success is returned to the vulnerable among us because, at some level, associate success, store success, dealer group success, and community success are one wonderful progression of the dealer network's potential impact on the world.
Telling it like it is - And, just in time for Thanksgiving, CMA and UVA will host a Turkey Trot to raise even more money for the hospital! What a great way to build community partnership into the calendar!
At times, the dignity and stability of learning a trade doesn’t get enough spotlight in public education. Good on this district and New Country Porsche for helping young people seeing their contribution to the world can take many shapes (most of which have a presence in retail automotive)
