Tesla has been testing a "Magic Dock" in upstate New York which can unlock to become a more universal CCS adapter and allow non-Tesla electric cars to charge. The company plans to double the size of its Supercharger network to make 7,500 stations available to all EVs by the end of 2024.

Carvana reported a net loss of $806M in Q4 of 2022 and saw its revenue fall by 24%. The company sold 87K vehicles in Q4 2022 (down 23%), and its per-vehicle profit tumbled by about 50%. Carvana execs have said that it was a difficult year and the company's turnaround plan includes decreasing costs and inventory, but, thankfully, no layoffs.

Keith and Melissa Silva of EVolve Racing built an EV rock crawler for the Every Man Challenge at this year's King of the Hammers event in California. The couple swapped the powertrain in their Chevrolet S10 rock crawler with a 2015 Tesla Model S P85. Their TeS-10 finished last out of 155 entries, but the couple garnered plenty of attention and praise from intrigued onlookers.
