At 2.4 Billion in profits, Tesla closed the year with a record quarter and their first back-to-back profitable year since they were founded in 2003. While their new Texas factory and its upcoming German counterpart are expected to double production, the car company has announced no new models and delayed their eagerly awaited Cybertruck another year. Citing a supply chain bottle-neck and having "enough on their plate" Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, has set a goal of increasing output before increasing options.
