Uber's new EV option is live in 25 North American cities. The "Comfort Electric" option offers customers an upscale ride in a Tesla, Polestar, Mustang Mach-E, or similar higher-end EV.
✋First-hand experience with semi-luxury EVs may drive further adoption of the vehicles in population hubs like Atlanta, Austin, DC, Vegas, NY Suburbs, Philly, etc.
Ultimately Uber has its sights on zero emissions in the US and Canada by 2030. This also means the one million people who use the ride-share app as a source of income will be looking to invest in an electric vehicle within the next 7 or so years.
