As of August 1, Henson Brand Dealerships allow associates to work four-day work weeks. A method tried by companies all over Europe and appearing more in the US, alternative schedules offer several advantages, but require a deal of adjustment from both the company and associates. We asked Managing Partner Eric Barbosa about the decision. He said there were many reasons to implement the change with a better work-life balance, well-rested associates providing a better customer experience, and saving money by reducing commutes among the top.
Eric said the team knows they will have some issues but are committed to making it work. We look forward to checking in with him and learning about the team's progress!
