Porsche released a software update that, when combined with a ~$2K hardware update, cuts the charge time of the Taycan EV in half.

New customers can select the upgraded onboard charging system on Porsche's online configurator. It takes about 12 hours of labor to update the onboard equipment on existing vehicle variants.
