Chevy Ad Beats Out Nissan for Most Viewed Auto Commercial

Chevrolet's "Taco Truck" ad has bumped Nissan's "Electric Cars for Electric Drivers" to #2 according to a recent report by iSpot.tv. The companies were neck and neck going into the recent NFL Playoff weekend, but survey data shows Chevy pulling ahead in "Likeability" as well as most impressions by 600,000.

Watch it With Words: The 30-second ad features a couple driving and discussing what they want to eat, when the distraction of the conversation almost leads to a nasty fender bender with a taco truck. The Chevy Equinox's Automatic Emergency braking saves the day just in time and they decide to have tacos. The ad is short but does a good job of making a tense moment funny while also reminding you fender benders happen every day, but less so to folks with automatic emergency brakes
