After months of speculation the Chevy Bolt may never resume production, GM announced this week the EV will restart production in April. After a battery-fire-related recall in August, Orion Assembly in Detroit halted production completely with the exception of a 2-week period in November related to getting vehicles to customers during the recall period. Production is expected to start back up on April 4th and will mark the longest safety-related assembly halt in the company's history.
Telling it like it is - Last week we saw a story saying the Bolt may never come back and now this happens. Did public awareness lead to the buzz or the buzz to the awareness?
