Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, TX, has hosted events and supported local charities for the last ten years. Funds raised from golf tournaments, wine tastings, and fun runs go directly to partner charities and are matched dollar for dollar by Tom and Susan Durant, the owners of Classic Chevrolet.
And counting… Since the first annual golf tournaments, the dealership raised a combined $3.6M with no sign of stopping.
In addition to their usual activities, this year, they have offered MSRP pricing on the highly anticipated Corvette Z06 to any customer who makes a $50K donation to one of Classic's charity partners. Eric Hall with the store told us they have already had 27 customers pledging contributions, with the resulting $1.3M distributed to the company's 13 charity partners. All that before the first golf ball leaves the tee.
