European Union leaders are investigating the impact of the US Inflation Reduction Act on businesses.
In an upcoming visit to the US, French President Macron will seek an exemption similar to Canada and Mexico to ensure European businesses are not treated unfairly.
He has also called on fellow EU leaders to speed up, simplify, and boost existing tax incentives to keep pace with the US's new climate and tax laws.
