Ford's high-performance Raptor nameplate will be added to an upcoming midsize Ranger pickup. Like the F-150 and Bronco Raptors before, the Ranger promises to offer excellent off-road performance.
Built Ford tough? Specifics have not yet been made public, but a press release shared that "the next-gen Ranger Raptor has been engineered with smarter technology controlling tougher hardware to create the most advanced Ranger ever." While Ford has not officially announced the Ranger Raptor will come to the U.S., some rumors have circulated that a stateside model with a 2.7-liter, twin-turbo V6 pumping out around 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque could go on sale in America.
