Due to the global semiconductor-chip shortage, Ford announced they would pause production of F-150 pickups at their Missouri assembly plant for a week. The decision comes after the weeks of trimmed numbers at several plants.
Is this goodbye? With Ford and GM recently introducing their first EV Pickup, some may see this as making space for a graceful exit. But the ICE F-150 is still produced at the Dearborn, MO plant and is expected to resume March 7th at the paused plant.
