Rising gas prices have impacted businesses and individuals alike, but driving gig workers feel double-tapped. Uber, Lyft, and some delivery company workers have asked for additional fuel compensation. Uber and Lyft drivers say a recent fuel surcharge added to customer fees has not done enough to offset the price. 

The usual suspects. Currently, an Uber ride costs 50% more than before the pandemic. Covid, supply crunches, and the Russian invasion contribute to rising costs. Debates are ongoing as to who should foot the bill.
