Hertz is adding more zero-emission vehicles to their fleet. A deal announced in October already has the rental car company buying 100,000 EVs from Tesla. Now Hertz is planning to buy up to 65,000 EVs from Polestar. Polestar 2 sedans will be available for US renters later in 2022.
They grow up so fast. Started by China's Geely and Volvo, Polestar became a stand-alone brand in 2017. Their first SUV, the Polestar 3, will be released later this year.
