Lexus is opening a new hidden headquarters in the forest-covered mountainous region outside Tokyo in early 2024. The company has not directly commented on why it sounds like the beginning of a spy movie, but we assume it is all above board.
The welcome mat says, "How did you find us?" The headquarters will act as a home for the company's push into the next era of EV development. A test track has been operational at the site since 2019. Due to tree coverage and quiet electric motors, even that can remain unnoticed.
