Market Research Finds Americans Prefer Dealerships

A survey by market research company Escalent found only 20% of non-Tesla owning consumers prefer a direct-to-consumer sales model. The majority of those surveyed prefer dealerships for financing, delivery, and fixed-ops, with nearly half valuing the dealership staff for vehicle educational needs.

Room for improvement. The survey also found customers want a hybrid of online and in-person shopping options.
