Nissan Partners With NASA For Battery Development
“Collaboration is rocket-fuel in the engine of innovation” - Henry Ford, probably.
Nissan and NASA are working together to develop all-solid-state batteries. The partnership aims to eliminate the need for rare and expensive metals in future energy solutions.
No shortage of confidence. Despite being early in the development stage, a pilot solid-state plant will open in 2024. Nissan hopes to debut the tech in passenger vehicles by 2028.
