Online shopping has grown more popular. In 2019 only 1% of all auto sales were digital. Driven by the pandemic in 2020, the number climbed to 10%. While covid has loosened its grip on people's options, many consumers still opt for the convenience of online shopping. 67% of customers surveyed said they would buy their next vehicle online if they could.
