Quebec To Relaunch Lithium Mine

The government of Quebec is partnering with the chemical company, Livent, to relaunch operations at Nemaska Lithium. The $80M investment will be a significant source of lithium hydroxide in North America. Interested battery investors, including General Motors, are already working on processing plants between Montreal and Quebec city to produce EV batteries.
