Tennis Star Invites More Women Into Crypto

Tennis star Naomi Osaka's list of victories and accolades prove she is already a champion. A partnership between the athlete and FTX, a crypto exchange, will have her championing a new cause: getting more women involved with crypto. Numbers show a desperate chasm between the involvement of men and women in the crypto space.

  • 5% of all NFT artists are female
  • 24% of women 1,031 surveyed women report owning crypto

Osaka will create content with FTX for a global release and will wear the FTX logo on her Miami Open outfit. In return, FTX will pay Osaka in crypto and donate to Play Academy, Osaka's organization to support girls in sports.
