The ASOTU Crew has made themselves at home at the Automotive News Retail Forum. Paul J. Daly and Michael Cirillo shared their thoughts fresh from the first two speakers, Damian Mills and Erikka Tiffani Wells.
"You could cut a hundred pieces of unique content from everything that was said in that keynote, and it wouldn't even be like you were trying" -Paul J Daly.
Both speakers shared backgrounds of their early days in automotive, Damien starting as a temporary worker, meeting a mentor, and now owns 19 rooftops. While Erikka needed some repairs to her car, she ended up working for the repair shop before working her way up through dealerships. She is now the sales manager at Volkswagen of Marion and, like Damian, one of this year's 40 under 40.
Paul and Michael were struck by the wholesome honesty each speaker shared. Hearing a message of the heart and soul of automotive: care for people. The teams they lead, the customers they serve, and the automotive leaders of tomorrow waiting to be discovered, this business is about being good people and helping others do the same.
The ASOTU crew says Damian and Erikka are living proof.
"There's black, and there's white, but everybody understands green." - Erikka Tiffani Wells.
