Used Car Prices Easing

Cox Automotive data reports a 1% decline in used car prices from March to April. The move marks a 6.4% drop for 2022, but prices are still 14% higher than a year ago. 

Appreciation for depreciation. Cox Automotive Chief Economist Jonathan Smoke says the market is returning to vehicles depreciating again. Vehicle prices coming down is good news for inflation and consumers looking to buy.
