Volvo Sees Electric And Hybrid Business Grow

Volvo's sales rose 12% in November. The company says that its electric and hybrid options are in high demand, with persistent supply issues throttling customer access.

Numbers:

  • Recharge models accounted for 42% of November sales, up from 32% in October.
  • Of that, about half, 20% of total sales, were all-electric models.
  • The 12% growth in November builds on the 9% growth in October.

The company says they are learning to live with supply issues and will plan to make decisions by the week to keep up.

In the US. Of the 59K cars sold, 9K were in the US. Up 20% year-over-year, with nearly 30% of sales in the hybrid or electric models.

Welcome back! He will return next month and lead a team dedicated to computing, electrification, connectivity, and autonomous driving (the business card grows). This means he will facilitate realizing the OEM's decision to forego developing in-car software and begin working with Android Auto.
