Volvo's EV Startup, Polestar, Set For Super Bowl Debut

Swedish EV startup, Polestar, will join the crowd of automakers looking to stand apart during this year's Super Bowl.The Volvo backed EV company became a stand-alone brand in 2017 and will seek to counter the standard expectations by taking on a "No Cliches" approach with an ad called "No Compromises".

The Product. The ad will feature the Polestar 2, an EV with a minimalist design, 270 mile single charge battery, and a 4.5 second sprint from 0-60. Prices for Pilestar's first mass-marketed car start at $45,900.

With plenty of competition entering the EV market, Polestar have shared ambitious intentions of launching a new EV per year for the next 3 years, with Polestar 3, their first SUV, later in 2022.
