Hasbro and the New York Times are turning the viral word game Wordle into a board game. "Wordle: The Party Game" will be released in October and is totally not Scrabble with extra rules (we think).
What word am I thinking now? The game has one person write down a word, and the rest of the players try to guess it. Very close to the standard Wordle format but with an added social element, which is precisely what was missing from a game that infected 96% of Americans through word of mouth 🤷♂️.
