Who has the freakin coolest hair that I've ever seen, and also has only been in the auto industry for as long, six months. And you are what's your role your sales associate at Furman Chevrolet. You're a sales associate, you've been in six months. And you've had a little bit of success. Tell us a little bit about like what these first six months have looked like for you.

Sette Perez: 0:29

Um, it's been life changing opportunity that has been here all along that I had no idea about. Found it. I have a passion for it. And it's been working out.

Kyle Mountsier: 0:41

So what were you doing before you were selling cars?

Sette Perez: 0:43

I was in IT solutions already.

Kyle Mountsier: 0:48

Right. All right. So the whole new world you're outside, you're running around with customers in beautiful Tampa, Florida. Now,what's the most exciting thing about like your day to day,

Sette Perez: 0:57

just meeting new people and building connections that don't just last for the day, but for months and years out? I enjoy that.

Kyle Mountsier: 1:05

That's awesome. And what like Have there been any stories or like particular connections or people that really stand out in your mind over the last six months that that like just have have changed, like your perception or your perspective?

Sette Perez: 1:17

Yeah, I mean, I think it was my second month in I helped a girl get into an equinox and she just you know, was flipped and just really needed help. And we worked and work got her done. And she sent her mom back and her mom bought two more cars for me. And I'm like, referrals already like this quick like that. That was a that was pretty awesome.

Kyle Mountsier: 1:37

That's really cool. So to all those like IT professionals or people in other jobs, what would you say to them? If they're like, I had never even thought about stepping foot in a dealership? What's your encouragement to them?

Sette Perez: 1:52

Give it a shot? Why not? Yeah, I mean, what's the worst that could happen? You don't like it go back to boring it. I mean, I love try it out.

Kyle Mountsier: 2:00

I love it. How many cars a month I use on on average

Sette Perez: 2:05

20 plus.

Kyle Mountsier: 2:07

That's a lot.I'm just like, I sold cars for about three and a half years. And it took me about two and a half of those to get 20 cars. What's it what's a month or a day look like the energy that it takes and the and the commitment that it takes? What are the tasks that you have to do to get to that law

Sette Perez: 2:24

is stressing me out that I'm sitting here chit chatting with you and not getting done with my appraisal.I'm always on the go always looking for something. I don't I can't sit in one spot. So just literally you will see me running through this lot.

Kyle Mountsier: 2:37
