Microsoft Emoji Go Open Source

Microsoft will add more than 1,500 3D emojis to Figma and GitHub as free, open-source code. Creators will be allowed to create custom emojis using the code to encourage creativity and inclusivity in the medium.

The company says they spent a lot of time on inclusive designs in the original 1,500 emojis, but just one team knows a broader community will make the idea globally relevant in unique ways.
