A multi-year cyber operation has stolen trillions in intellectual property from about 30 multinational companies. Chinese state actor, APT 41, has stolen hundreds of gigabytes of blueprints, diagrams, formulas, and proprietary data, including things from fighter jets to depression medications. Many were unpatented plans.
The operation was started in 2019 but remained undetected until recently. At this time, authorities have not stopped the campaign.
