With more in the tech industry working from home many companies are seeking new hires in Latin America. The move appeals to startups, such as Coinbase and Shopify, who are able to get qualified people, in roughly the same time zone, who will work for lower wages.
The increasing cost of living and decreasing average tech industry salary could make looking outside the U.S. for the workforce, or relocations as a remote worker, an increasingly common idea.
