Restrictions stemming from what some have called the "Cyber Iron Curtain" have cut many Russian citizens off from the outside world. With access to only state-owned news sources, some do not know their country is invading Ukraine or what is happening across their border. Tech and social media companies, such as Twitter, have taken to the "dark web" to provide access.

@PrivacyPlease. Although the dark web is often associated with illicit activities, privacy and censorship bypass are more common. A Tor browser is required to access such privacy-protected aka ".onion" sites.
